Handblown Tea Glasses, Egypt

Handblown Tea Glasses, Egypt

$100.00

I discovered these handblown Egyptian tea glasses while visiting Cairo and was instantly drawn to their irregular, fluted shape and organic beauty. This set of four tea glasses is handblown in Egypt from recycled Coke bottles, giving them the appearance of clear seed glass with delicate air bubbles and a soft blue-green tint. Each glass is unique, with natural variations and slight imperfections that celebrate their handmade origins.

In Egypt, this style is known as Mosky glass or Muski glass, a traditional form of handblown glass often made from recycled materials, continuing ancient Egyptian glassmaking practices. These particular glasses are made using time-honored techniques by a generational craftsman, preserving a lineage of artistry.

Set of 4 glasses. Perfect for serving tea, espresso, or as distinctive everyday glassware. Please note: due to their handmade nature, each piece may show small impurities or subtle discolorations.

Size: Approx. 5”
