About this Particular Crystal

This is a bit of an anomaly for Crystal Voyager, but fossilized bamboo is similar to petrified wood. This agatized “fossil bamboo” formed when bamboo plants were buried beneath volcanic ash, with silica-rich fluids later permeating the stems and depositing agate throughout the organic structure. The process preserved the bamboo’s distinctive segmented form while transforming it into stone. This piece is funky, resembling the tip of E.T.’s finger! It really showcases the original form of the bamboo, with its pronounced ridges and hollowed core.

The metaphor of fossilized bamboo is one of resilience, adaptability, and transformation. It reminds us that we can adapt to what is happening around us while remaining rooted in our essential nature.
