About this Set

One of my personal favorite things to collect are calcite rhomboids in every hue. This inspired me to create this starter set, which includes 8 small pieces in a rainbow of colors. What makes this set unique is that not all of these colors readily form as rhomboids (rarely will you see red or blue in this shape) but I managed to pull together a cohesive set. It’s perfect for meditation, chakra work, or energetic clearing, offering a full spectrum of calcite’s properties.

Calcite occurs in many formations and hues, from opaque masses to sharp, translucent crystals. One of the most beautiful expressions of earth’s natural geometry is the rhomboid shape that calcite comes in. These crystals belong to the rhombohedral crystal system, which means that when they break, they tend to cleave along planes that produce smaller rhombohedral forms. Rhomboid calcites feel especially precise in their energy and are powerful tools for removing stuckness in a comprehensive, focused way. When used as a metaphysical tool, calcite dissolves stagnant energy, clears energetic debris, and helps create space for new insights, emotions, and growth. I gave this formation the moniker “The Eraser” because it captures the energetic behavior of this particular kind of calcite so well. Think of it as the exfoliator of the crystal world. It removes old patterns so a fresh, aligned layer can emerge.

Clear calcite, also called optical calcite or Iceland spar, is the most versatile and can be applied to any chakra. It is particularly helpful for creating new perspectives, bringing clarity and higher understanding, and accessing a 360-degree spiritual view when navigating confusion or change. Calcite’s energy becomes more targeted when paired with color. Each hue corresponds to a chakra or emotional theme, and calcite works by dissolving the specific blocks associated with that frequency.
