About this Particular Crystal

This is the first time I have ever offered stibnite. The combination of its elongated, slender form and gunmetal-silver metallic sheen makes this a very sleek and modern crystal. Like, if Calvin Klein kept a crystal on his desk, this would be it. I would suggest keeping it on a tray in a space where a lot of thinking gets done.

Note: Some stibnite specimens may occur with associated arsenic-bearing minerals or native sulfur. Wash your hands after handling and avoid generating dust.

About the Mineral: Stibnite

Stibnite is a sulfide mineral composed of antimony and sulfur that grows into long, striated crystals. Its elongated form creates a physical metaphor for movement. Like tourmaline, its vertical striations create channels through which energy can move efficiently, similar to the capillary system of a plant stem that transports water and nutrients upward from the roots. Stibnite is particularly useful for drawing energy and directing it toward change.

Work with stibnite to question assumptions, examine whether your beliefs are actually your own, simplify complicated problems, and reconsider established ways of doing things. Rather than rejecting what exists, stibnite encourages you to understand its structure and determine what can be removed, retained, or reconfigured. Strip ideas, beliefs, and systems down to their essential components: What is necessary? What is inherited? What is there simply because it has always been there?
