About this Particular Stone

Labradorite is a feldspar mineral celebrated for its stunning iridescence, revealing a spectrum of colors as it catches the light. This piece has a tie-dyed quality with exceptional flash, the shimmering play of colors that appears when light hits it from different angles. This effect, called labradorescence, occurs when layers of feldspar reflect and refract light. Most Labradorite is polished to maximize this flash, but this stone retains a natural feel, with a polished surface and a raw back.

Like any stone that shifts with the light, Labradorite is a visionary crystal, optimistic and guiding. It helps find light in the dark, encouraging dreaming, clarity, and seeing beyond limitations. While in Tucson I wore labradorite earrings to help me to see through all of the inventory to find the perfect pieces to bring home.
