Designer Megan Heacock White and Jillian Kasimow of Crystal Voyager brought their worlds together to create this limited edition of trays, handcrafted in their home state of California. Locally sourced pieces of solid Claro walnut have been hand carved and hand inlaid with vintage gem quality sky blue Turquoise, collected in Nevada between the 1930s and 1960s. They have been finished with natural, food safe oils. 

Inspired by the work of architect James Hubbell, each tray was designed to honor the distinct piece of wood it emerged from. Their organic shapes were chosen to preserve as much of the original material as possible, while highlighting the inherent characteristics of the wood, from live edges to natural cracks and indentations. The richness of the Claro walnut’s color and its grain provides the perfect canvas for bright turquoise to pop, showcasing the abstract patterning of each small piece so they can be fully appreciated and energetically absorbed. Everyone can benefit from the influence of Turquoise’s nurturing vibrations, which assists one in realigning with their most authentic self.
