SPECIMEN — This is a very special extra-large piece of kunzite (spodumene) that I am releasing from my personal collection of crystals. I don’t exactly have favorite crystals but I do have certain ones that I strongly resonate with. If you find yourself collecting more of a certain type of stone than others, this is because its energy matches the vibrations of your core values and authentic essence. Kunzite is one of those stones for me. I love crystals that are like Jolly Ranchers. Seeing, holding, and engaging Kunzite makes me feel soothed, open-hearted, brighter, and happier. Because I have so many pieces of kunzite, I am releasing this one so someone else can enjoy its joyous presence. This is a very substantial piece, which makes it particularly reassuring when placed on or near the heart chakra during meditation. It is a shiny, translucent and gemmy lilac-pink color with pronounced striations.

Note: To preserve the color of this piece avoid keeping it in direct sunlight for extended periods. It will fade and lose its saturated color.

From sheer appearance alone, Kunzite radiates softness and love. It is hard not to smile when encountering a piece of kunzite. It ranges in color from bubblegum pink to more purple violet. There are four essential stones for the heart, which include rose quartz, pink calcite, pink tourmaline, and kunzite. Rose Quartz is the foundation for self-love, forgiveness, and inner peace. It removes the blocks that prevent self-connection. With the heart opened, Kunzite nurtures one’s heart with pure love that translates into self-acceptance, compassion, and reassurance that one is worthy of love as a perfectly divine creation just as they are. From this healthy activated state, kunzite has prepared one to share their love without fear. Pink tourmaline then enables one to dynamically express this love in outer expression. Pink stones resonate with the heart, but less with the physical aspects that green does and more with the spiritual foundations of our emotional intelligence.
